  • If You Can't Breathe, You Can't Function: Integrating Cardiopulmonary and Postural Control Strategies in the Pediatric Population

    November 10, 11, and 12

This workshop gives providers information, resources, and strategies that help them acknowledge the importance of the cardiopulmonary system as an integral component of postural control. Understanding how postural control and breathing mechanics link to motor and physiologic behaviors allows the clinician the means to integrate the cardiovascular, pulmonary, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, integumentary, and internal organ systems into every evaluation and intervention. Extensive lab work will teach clinician how to pair ventilatory strategies with specific movements effectively to establish the pulmonary system as an assist rather than a liability for their patients. The emphasis of this presentation will be on developing and applying practical quick clinical solutions that are applicable to pediatric patients in all pediatric settings.

Only 50 registrants will be taken, so please register early!
